Bieber recently made the decision to delete her Twitter account and opened up to Dr. Jessica Clemons in her brand new vlog about why it was the right choice for her well being.

“I don’t even have a Twitter anymore because there was never really a time where I would go on there and it didn’t feel like it was a very toxic environment,” she revealed. “The thought of even opening the app gives me such bad anxiety that I feel like I’m gonna throw up.”
Despite her supermodel status, the blonde beauty admitted that one of the biggest issues she struggled with online “was the comparison,” from body comparison to looks and behavior.

And while’s she happily married to Justin Bieber, the constant negative comments on her feed from so-called fans brought on severe anxiety and eventually became too much for her to bear.
“When you’re going through a situation where you just have so many people hounding you with the same thing over and over and over again, it starts to mess with your mind and then you start to question everything and you’re like, ‘Is there something that I’m not seeing that they see?’” she said.

“I want everyone to like me, it’s like my downfall at time and I’m working through it,” the niece of actor Alec Baldwin continued. “I think one thing I’ve had to come to the conclusion of is trying not to feel like I owe everybody an explanation or owe anybody anything, and really just try to correct what I need to correct personally behind closed doors.”

Even though Bieber has said goodbye to Twitter, it doesn’t mean she has cut out social media completely. The model made a new rule for herself: Instagram only on weekends. She also changed her settings so that only her friends and family can comment on her posts.

“When I look at my comments now, when I put up a photo or a video or anything, I know it’s only going to be people that I know are only going to be positive and only going to be encouraging and uplifting,” she explained.

Bieber is just the latest star to step away from Twitter. As OK! previously reported, Chrissy Teigen announced on Wednesday, March 24, that she was leaving the platform.
“For over 10 years, you guys have been my world. I honestly owe so much to this world we have created here. I truly consider so many of you my actual friends,” the 35-year-old tweeted. “But it’s time for me to say goodbye. This no longer serves me as positively as it serves me negatively, and I think that’s the right time to call something.”
