OK! reported last month that the Viva La  star was slapped with a restraining order by Tremaine. At the time, it was unclear what exactly prompted the co-founder (alongside Johnny Knoxville) of the wildly popular franchise to request the legal action. However, the filing came shortly after Margera blasted Tremaine and Knoxville on social media.

In addition, Tremaine said Margera has gone after his children, sending him several direct threats regarding his kids, with one that read: “Look at your children and grab your pocket book and write a check, if you are greedy, and cheap, look at your children again. If you don‘t sign the paper, look at you children. Sign your stupid f**king contract before your (sic) not safe anywhere,” according to the documents.

Tremaine said the contract the troubled star was talking about was one Margera wrote up himself, TMZ reported.

According to the restraining order, Margera must stay at least 100 yards away from Tremaine, his wife and children. The star has also apparently been ordered to stop contacting Tremaine altogether.

During Margera’s social media tirade against Tremaine and Knoxville last month, he claimed the two made him “jump through hoops” before he was reportedly axed from the upcoming Jackass 4 film. “My family— Jackass — has betrayed me, rejected me, abandoned me,” he began his Monday, May 24, rant on Instagram.

After specifically calling out Tremaine and Knoxville, he explained: “I feel like my family has f**king done everything horrible to me… and strung me along like a f**king puppet to get the $5 million I usually get when I make a movie with them.”

Margera has a long history of substance abuse and previously admitted he has been seeking treatment for manic bipolar disorder.

The pro skateboarder was originally set to appear in the upcoming film for the franchise; however, he broke the conditions in his contract, which were imposed by production, related to his substance abuse, OK! reported. He was reportedly ordered to submit to routine drug testing, take breathalyzer tests, take his prescribed medication and see a psychologist.
