New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman writes that one reason for the confusing and highly contradictory statements from Trump is that he is jealous of his former vice-president’s lucrative book deal. “Pence’s book deal is said to have been on him,” the Times correspondent wrote on social media on Friday.

Trump’s 48 week run on top of the Times best selling list for his book The Art Of The Deal may have gone to his head. He continued, “I genuinely believe that if Trump wins and gets the nuclear codes there is an excellent possibility it will lead to the end of civilization.”

While America and the world holds its breath as to whether or not the United States will see Trump in the White House for a second time, the controversial figure spends his days strolling the grounds of Mar-a-Lago, taking adoring fan selfies with guests, handing out wads of cash, and even crashing engagement parties and memorial services.
