President Trump has vowed to sue the FBI and DOJ over the illegal raid of his Mar-a-Lago home, which he says was a violation of his fourth amendment rights.
Theconservativetreehouse.com reports: The easiest approach for President Trump’s legal team to take would be the generalized nature of the search warrant. The Fourth Amendment specifically prohibits the government using general warrants to search private belongings of individuals.
Fourth Amendment – “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”
