Prince Harry Is On Active Dad Duty Ahead Of His Second Child With Meghan Markle

Sure, Prince Harry was over the moon when son Archie was born in May 2019. But these days, the proud papa is so gaga about life with his boy that he’d be perfectly pleased to see his wife, Meghan Markle, go back to work and leave the hands-on, day-to-day parenting to him.

Though and , 39, inked a megawatt, multi-year deal with Netflix last September to produce “inspirational” dramas, documentaries and children’s programs, “all of their friends can absolutely see Meghan acting and producing while Harry stays at home being the primary caregiver,” the pal says. “He’s never been happier!”

“Some royals may look down on Harry’s devotion to Archie, but he doesn’t care,” the friend added.

The pregnancy news comes months after it was revealed that Meghan suffered a miscarriage last summer.

In a heartbreaking op-ed for The New York Times, the Suits alum wrote that she felt as if something wasn’t right.

“I felt a sharp cramp. I dropped to the floor with [Archie] in my arms, humming a lullaby to keep us both calm,” she wrote, adding that she clutched Archie, knowing that she was losing her second .
